Authority for the digital certification. A CA works as a trusted third party ( TTP ), enabling digital certificates to subjects on account of having verified its identity.
The CA certifies the binding between the certificate (through which the subject makes economical transactions, autenticates e-mails or documents ... ) and the identity of the subject of the certificate.
This relation must be unequivocal.
