Meaning of BAGUTTA PRIZE in English

Italian literary prize that is awarded annually to the author of the best book of the year. Established in 1927, it is named after the Milan trattoria in which the award ceremony is held. The prize recognizes authors in several genres, including novels and works of poetry and journalism, and carries an award of one million lire.
