rhyme between a word within a line and another word either at the end of the same line or within another line, as in the second and fourth lines of the following quatrain from the last stanza of Percy Bysshe Shelley's The Cloud: I am the daughter of Earth and Water, And the nursling of the Sky; I pass through the pores of the ocean and shores; I change, but I cannot die.
