SAN ANTONIO, CAPE

Spanish Cabo San Antonio, cape, Pinar del Ro province, western Cuba. Forming the westernmost extremity of the island, its point juts out between the Golfo (gulf ) de Guanahacabibes on the north and Ensenada (bay) de Corrientes on the south. Approximately 150 mi (240 km) to the west, across the Yucatn Channel, lies Cabo Catoche, on Mexico's Yucatn Peninsula. A lighthouse is situated on Cabo San Antonio.
