Hellmut Diwald, Wallenstein: Eine Biographie (1969), contains an interesting and valuable chapter on the organization of the Wallenstein army. Golo Mann, Wallenstein: Sein Leben erzhlt (4th ed., 1971; Eng. trans. by Charles Kessler, Wallenstein, His Life Narrated, 1976), has an extensive bibliography.
