a famous US baseball player who hit more home runs (755) during his career than any other player. His popular name was ‘Hammerin’ Hank’. He played for 23 years (1954–74) with the Braves in Milwaukee and then in Atlanta . He was chosen for the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1982.
