a businessman who owns a number of businesses in Britain including Harrods and Fulham Football Club. He was born in Egypt and tried for many years to apply for a British passport, but was not successful and now lives in Switzerland. His son, Dodi Al-Fayed (1955–1997), was killed in a car accident in Paris with Diana, Princess of Wales .
