ALI G

a comedy character played by the English comedian Sacha Baron Cohen (1970– ). He first appeared in the British television series The 11 O’Clock Show in 1999 and later in Da Ali G Show in Britain and the US, and in the film Ali G In Da House (2002). He uses language, wears clothes and has attitudes which are typical of British black street culture in an extreme way which is funny. He is also very naive about the world outside his group of friends.
