AMISH


Meaning of AMISH in English

a strict Christian group in America who were once part of the Mennonites . They are mostly farmers in the states of Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana. Because of their many religious rules, they do not have cars, telephones or electricity, and they wear old-fashioned clothes.
