a street in central London. It is perhaps best known as the place where Sherlock Holmes , the detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle , lived. His address was number 221B Baker Street, which is now part of a bank. In the stories, Holmes sometimes uses a group of local children he calls the Baker Street irregulars to get information for him.
