a problem that is common in schools where some children use their strength or important positions to hurt or frighten smaller or weaker children. The people who do this are called bullies . There are many books about British schools that describe how bullies make other children unhappy in this way. The most famous bully in English literature is Flashman in Tom Brown’s Schooldays .
