(1485–1536)

a Spanish princess who in 1509 became the first wife of King Henry VIII of England. They had six children, all of whom died soon after being born except for Mary I . Henry wanted a son to be the next king, and had the marriage annulled in 1533. The Pope did not agree with this, and the Reformation was a result of the divorce.
