Meaning of DR SEUSS in English

the name used by the US writer and artist Theodor Seuss Geisel (1904–91) for his popular series of children’s books. They are long, funny poems that have been praised as a good way to teach children to read. They include Horton Hears a Who (1954), How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1957) and The Cat in the Hat (1957). Several were made into television cartoon films.
