Meaning of FRANGLAIS in English

1. the use of English words in French, from the French words français (French) and anglais (English). Many French people do not like franglais phrases such as ‘le weekend’ or ‘le fair play’ because they think that they are making the French language less pure.

2. ( humor ) language which is a mixture of French and English that sounds funny:

‘C’est pas une good news,’ he said in his best franglais.
