an English actor, especially on television. He became famous playing the part of ‘ Del Boy ’ Trotter in Only Fools and Horses and later that of Pop Larkin in The Darling Buds of May . He has also had success with more serious roles, playing the police officer Jack Frost in the crime series A Touch of Frost (1992–2003).
