Meaning of MORRIS DANCE in English

a type of old English dance traditionally performed by men wearing special (usually white) costumes, often with small bells around their legs below the knee. Dances from some parts of Britain involve waving handkerchiefs, and in others the dancers knock sticks together. Morris dances are usually performed outdoors in the summer. Women now also sometimes take part.
