(1947– )
a US actor and politician, known especially for his large muscles and parts in violent action films. He was born in Austria and won several competitions for muscle development, including ‘Mr Universe’. His films include Conan the Barbarian (1982), the Terminator films (1984, 1991 and 2003), True Lies (1994) and Eraser (1996). In 2003 he became governor of the state of California .
