the military school that trains officers for the US Army. It is at West Point, New York, and was established by Congress in 1802. It has about 4 000 students, who are called cadets . Famous US generals who were trained there include Robert E Lee , Ulysses S Grant , John Pershing , Dwight D Eisenhower , George Patton , Douglas MacArthur and Norman Schwartzkopf.
