[adjective] -ier, -iest [UK and ANZ] [informal] - (seeming as if) made up of a lot of different things that do not fit togetherSeveral authors contributed a chapter each which made the book seem rather bitty.I enjoyed the film but I found it quite bitty - it kept jumping from the story of one family to another.
