[adjective] - too boring, complicated or badly written to be worth reading, or illegible (= impossible to read because unclear or untidy)I know a lot of people who've really enjoyed James Joyce's 'Ulysses' but I found it totally unreadable.His views were controversial - Keats he considered overrated, Henry James unreadable.The page had so many corrections and comments on it that the original text was virtually unreadable.
