Meaning of AHMAD in English

[Islamic] The heavenly name of Muhammad whose advent was announced by Isa (Jesus) in the Qur'an (61:6). Some say that his advent was also announced in the Bible by Jesus, namely in John 14:16 where the English translation is 'comforter', 15:23.
