Meaning of FETCH in English

[Folklore] A wraith. The disembodied ghost of a living person. They most commonly appear to distant friends and relations at the very moment before the death of those they represent. Fetch-light or fetch candle is a light appearing at night and which supposedly foretells someone's death.
