Meaning of MANTYO in English

[Folklore] A thin, humanoid giant in Philippine folklore. The male and female mantyos are over ten feet tall, have long hair, and are either naked or scantily clad. They are said to roam around communities at night. A mantyo lives under tall trees and can often be found in or near kapok trees. It sleeps standing. It is generally friendly and helpful.
