Meaning of INTERNAL OR INTERIOR DRAINAGE in English

Drainage in which the waters have no outlet, and so do not reach the sea. An example is the Great Basin of Nevada and western Utah, where the streams flow into basins and create salt lakes, from which the water continually evaporates or sinks into the ground. District examples: Peck Sink and Blue Sink.
