RESOURCES AGENCY

The mission of the California Resources Agency is to oversee the state's activities relating to the conservation, management, and enhancement of California's natural and cultural resources; including land, wildlife, water, and minerals. The administrative head of The Resources Agency, the Secretary for Resources, is a member of the Governor's Cabinet, serves as the Governor's representative on the Agency's boards and commissions, and oversees administration of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
