Steve Wozniak "Woz" and Steve Jobs are the legends who started Apple Computer from a California garage in 1976, launching the personal computer age. Steve Wozniak was the engineer who like to build computers and have fun applying his engineering skills to projects for himself and his friends. He built his first computer, the Apple I, for himself and shared the schematics with friends at the Homebrew Computer Club, a group interested in computers and microprocessors. Steve Wozniak also designed the Apple II, the first ready-made computer and one of the most popular personal computers ever marketed. He now devotes considerable time to schools in his community, donating computer labs and teaching computer skills to students.
