(1933–) a Filipino politician, usually known as Cory Aquino. Her husband, Benigno Aquino, led the opposition to President Marcos of the Philippines until he was murdered in 1983. She helped to remove President Marcos from power in 1986, and she then became President of the Philippines until 1992.
