Feyn ‧ man, Richard Phillips /ˈfaɪnmən/ BrE AmE
(1918–88) a US scientist who won a Nobel prize for his work on ↑ radioactivity , and was one of the people given the job of trying to discover why the Challenger ↑ space shuttle exploded. He also wrote a very popular book about his life.
