a city in the Netherlands. The country's government is in The Hague, but its capital city is Amsterdam.
II. Hague, William BrE AmE
(1961–) a British politician who was leader of the Conservative Party from 1997 to 2001. He was the youngest leader for over 200 years. He became famous when he was 16 and gave a speech at the Conservative Party ↑ conference which was seen on television.
