too noticeable, direct, etc. in a way that is disturbing or annoying :

intrusive questions

The constant presence of the media was very intrusive.

2.

( phonetics ) ( of a speech sound ) produced in order to link two words together when speaking, for example the /r/ sound produced at the end of law by some English speakers in the phrase 'law and order'. Intrusive 'r' is not considered part of standard English.
