The cytoplasm contains all the organelles (see eukaryote ). The organelles include the mitochondria, chloroplast s, endoplasmic reticulum , Golgi apparatus, lysosome s, and peroxisomes. The cytoplasm also contains the cytoskeleton and the cytosol (the fluid mass that surrounds the various organelles).
