Iranian founder of the 1E62; afavid Sufi order, which in time developed into the Safavid dynasty .
He was influenced by mystics of the Sufi order and by Sheikh Z 0101; hid, a religious leader whose daughter he eventually married. On Sheikh Z 0101; hid's death, 1E62; af 012B; al-D 012B; n assumed leadership and gradually attracted many more adherents, largely through his policy of hospitality to all who sought refuge.
