in full Shaykh Mansur Ibn Yunus Al-bahuti, also called Al-bahuti Al-misri born , Bahut, Egypt died July 1641, Cairo teacher and the last major exponent in Egypt of the Hanbali school of Islamic law. Little is known about al-Bahuti except that he spent nearly all of his life teaching and practicing Hanbali law. His legal writings, although not original, are noted for their clarity and are still used in Egypt.
