city, southwestern Dominican Republic, situated between the western shore of Lake Enriquillo and the Haitian border. The city is now a trade centre for the coffee, fruits, and timber produced in the region. Jiman is accessible by secondary highway from communities in both the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Pop.
