(Icelandic: Long Glacier), large ice field, west-central Iceland. Langjkull is 40 miles (64 km) long and 15 miles (24 km) wide and covers an area of 395 square miles (1,025 square km). It rises to 4,757 feet (1,450 m) above sea level in the centre and feeds several rivers, including the Hvt and lfus. Haga Lake (Hagavatn) is at the foot of the glacier.
