Additional reading MacKinely Helm, Man of Fire: J.C. Orozco (1953, reissued 1971), the earliest major work in English, is still considered a classic. Alma Reed, Orozco (1956), is a biographical account written by an American who had known the artist for many years. David Elliott (ed.), Orozco! (1980), an exhibition catalog, is most useful for its collection of critical studies.
