PAROLLES

a follower of Bertram in Shakespeare's dark comedy All's Well That Ends Well. Parolles is a coward and a braggart who corrupts the willing Bertram. Once the mischievous soldier's false conceits are exposed, however, he shifts from the role of rogue to fool.
