ROLANDIA

city, northern Paran state, southern Brazil. It was called Cavina from 1944 to 1948. The population of the surrounding district has grown dramatically in the 20th century, with the introduction of coffee as a major crop. Rice, cotton, feijo (beans), and potatoes are other significant crops, and dairying is also important. Rolndia is connected by highway and railroad with Londrina to the east. Pop.
