TUI

Pinyin Dui, type of Chinese bronze vessel produced in the late Chou dynasty (c. 600221 BC). It is a food container consisting of two bowlseach supported on three legsthat, when placed together, form a sphere. There are usually two loop handles on either side of the rim of each bowl. The decoration of the tui is characteristic of the late Chou period, when rich, dense patterns, often enhanced with inlays, were common.
