USULUTN

city, southeastern El Salvador. It lies on the Pacific coastal plain at the southern foot of Usulutn Volcano. The city's name, which is Indian, means city of the ocelots. Usulutn is a commercial centre dealing in the grain, coffee, sugarcane, fruit, and hardwood lumber produced in the adjacent hinterland. The city has only small industrial developments. Pop.
