CAMRA

Meaning of CAMRA in English

( in full the Campaign for Real Ale )

a British organization whose aim is to support beer companies that produce traditional beer, and to encourage people to drink it. It was started in the 1970s by a group of people who felt that beer made in industrial processes by large companies was losing its flavour. CAMRA publishes books about beer and pubs, and organizes beer festivals.
