a US tennis player who won Wimbledon three times (1974, 1976 and 1981), the US Open (2) six times (1975–8, 1980 and 1982), and the French Open seven times (1974–5, 1979–80, 1983, 1985-6). She was married to the English tennis player John Lloyd for several years and was then known as Chris Evert Lloyd.
