a humorous US writer and broadcaster. His popular weekly radio programme, A Prairie Home Companion , which began in 1974, includes News From Lake Wobegon , an imaginary town in Minnesota . It is broadcast in the UK and Ireland as well as the US. Keillor’s books include Lake Wobegon Days (1985), We Are Still Married (1989), Home Grown Democrat (2003) and a book for children, The Old Man Who Loved Cheese (1996).
