a popular British pop singer and song writer since the early 1980s. He was born in London and has a Greek Cypriot father and an English mother. He first became famous as a member of the group Wham!, and then began a successful career on his own in 1985. His albums have included Faith (1987), Listen Without Prejudice Volume 1 (1990) and Patience (2004).
