Meaning of PALOMINO in English

n ( pl -os )

a breed of horse with a yellowish or pale brown colour and a white tail and mane (= hair on the neck). Palominos were first bred in the south-western US, and the name in Spanish means ‘young pigeon’. A famous palomino was Trigger, the horse of Roy Rogers .
