a US television presenter who appears mainly on British television. She is known for programmes such as The Full Wax (1991–4) and Ruby Wax Meets … (1996–8), in which she meets famous people and asks them questions in a funny and energetic way. She has also been a guest actor in the comedy series Absolutely Fabulous and worked on its scripts.
