[plural] [noun] - the intestines and other inside organs of an animal or person, when they are outside the bodypig entrails(figurative) The sofa's entrails (= pieces of material from inside) were sticking out in places.In the past, when people consulted the entrails they asked esp. a priest to tell them what would happen in the future by examining the inside organs of an animal.
