[noun] [disapproving] - something that is intended to be strange and amusing but in fact has little real meaning or valuePersonally I've always considered mime to be a lot of white-faced whimsy. [U]As a play I think it's a reasonably diverting piece of English whimsy but that's all. [U]I was taken to see a film, but it was one of the worst Walt Disney whimsies, which I dislike. [C]
