Usage
Luxurious and luxuriant are sometimes confused. Luxurious chiefly means ‘very comfortable and involving great expense’ ( a ~ hotel ), whereas luxuriant means ‘rich and profuse in growth’ ( luxuriant subtropical vegetation ).
