Usage

Although there is some overlap in the use of ~ , unsocial , and antisocial , they have distinct core meanings. Unsociable means ‘not enjoying the company of others’ ( Terry was grumpy and ~ ), while antisocial means ‘contrary to the customs of society’ ( aggressive and antisocial behaviour ). Unsocial , on the other hand, is usually used to describe hours ‘falling outside the normal working day’.
